Privacy policy

Last updated: 2026-10-10

This policy explains what personal information BotItOut Consulting collects through consulting.botitout.com, why, and what rights you have. BotItOut Consulting is run by Yariv Hashai as part of BotItOut.com. It is short on purpose: this site collects very little.

Who we are

BotItOut Consulting (“we”) is the AI consulting practice of BotItOut, led by Yariv Hashai and based in Israel. For the personal information described here, we decide why and how it is used, which makes us the database owner under Israeli law and the controller under the GDPR.

You can reach us at yariv@botitout.com.

What this site collects

The site has no forms, no accounts, no comments and no newsletter sign-up. It does not ask you for personal information, and it does not use advertising trackers or analytics. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.

Like every website, the server that delivers the pages records technical data about each request. See “Hosting and server logs” below.

When you contact us

There are three ways to get in touch, and each one works differently.

  • Booking a call. The booking button opens a scheduling page run by Cal.com, a separate service. What you enter there, such as your name, email address and a note, is collected by Cal.com and passed to us so we can hold the call. Cal.com’s own privacy policy applies to that page.
  • WhatsApp. The WhatsApp button opens a chat with our business number. We receive your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name and what you write. WhatsApp, a Meta service, processes messages under its own terms and privacy policy.
  • Email. If you write to yariv@botitout.com, we receive your email address and your message.

How we use it

We use this information only to answer you, to arrange and hold the call, and to prepare and deliver services you ask for. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and, when you ask for a call or a service, steps taken at your request before an agreement. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. When you visit, Vercel’s servers process your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time of the request. This is needed to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. Vercel keeps these logs for a limited period under its own policies and acts as our processor.

We do not combine this information with anything else, and we do not use it to identify you.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not set cookies, and it does not use local storage or similar technologies to follow you. Because nothing is tracked, there is no consent banner.

The links that open other services (Cal.com, WhatsApp, LinkedIn) lead to sites that may set their own cookies under their own policies.

Who we share it with

Only with the providers needed to run the site and answer you: Vercel (hosting), Cal.com (scheduling), WhatsApp (messaging) and our email provider. We share information with authorities only where the law requires it.

Some of these providers process data outside Israel and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, they rely on recognised transfer safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Server logs are kept by Vercel for a short, limited period. Emails, messages and booking details are kept for as long as we need them to respond to you and, if we work together, for the length of the engagement and as the law requires afterwards. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Your rights

Under Israel’s Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 (including Amendment 13), you can ask to see the information we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted.

If the GDPR of the European Union or the United Kingdom applies to you, you also have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it.

To use any of these rights, write to yariv@botitout.com. We will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority or to the data protection authority in your own country.

Children

This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS and sends security headers that limit what a page can load and do. We choose providers that protect data in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If we start using analytics, we will update this policy before we do.
