Accessibility statement
BotItOut Consulting wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this site. This statement is published under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.
The standard we work to
The site was designed and built to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 at level AA. Where it is practical, we also follow the newer WCAG 2.2 success criteria.
We have not yet had the site audited by an independent accessibility specialist, so we cannot claim a verified level of conformance.
Accessibility features on the site
These are built into every page, in English and in Hebrew:
- A clear structure: one main heading per page, a logical outline of headings, and landmarks for the header, navigation, main content and footer.
- A “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page.
- Full keyboard use, with a visible focus outline on links, buttons and the menu.
- The right language and direction: each page declares its language, and the Hebrew pages are laid out right to left. Names and numbers in the other script are isolated so they read correctly.
- English and Hebrew are separate pages, and a link to the other language appears on every page.
- Text alternatives: the photograph has a description, decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers, and the 3D animation has a text description.
- Every caption of the animated story is real text on the page, so it can be read without the animation.
- A pause button for the animation, and a still version for visitors who prefer reduced motion or whose device cannot show it.
- The content can be read without JavaScript.
- The layout adapts to different screen sizes.
- Links that open a booking page, a chat or another website do so in a new tab. The booking links say so in their accessible name.
- Text colours were chosen for strong contrast against their backgrounds.
Known limitations
The 3D animation at the top of the home page is decorative. Everything it shows is also written in text. It can be paused, and it is replaced by a still image if you prefer reduced motion or if your browser cannot display it. A few small example cards inside the animation are hidden from assistive technology on purpose, because they repeat what the page text already says.
Booking happens on Cal.com, messaging on WhatsApp and the profile on LinkedIn. We do not control those services, and their accessibility is up to them.
Because there has been no independent audit yet, there may be barriers we have not found. Please tell us if you meet one.
Reporting a problem or asking for another format
If you find a barrier, or you need information from the site in another form, contact the accessibility coordinator below. Please tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use, if any. We will do our best to fix the problem or give you the information in another way. We aim to reply within a few business days.
